NY POST CONTINUES TO SHINE

Chris Weingarten

this guy's delivery is annoying and some of his logic is hypocritical, but by and large HE IS FUCKING RIGHT

I'm guilty of attaching my ears/clicks/eyeballs to a lot of what he complains about, but he is correct in his assessment that no one anywhere is critical of anything anymore. No one takes the time to be critical. It is not valued (hater!!). And musicians concern themselves with things that don't make them better musicians. The race to be first precedes everything else.

OK GO = You make great videos for songs that are less than memorable. Then what?

ROCK CRITICS THAT I LOVE = Quit tweeting about what happened on IDOL. Really. W Are you covering it because so much will happen to the winner that you'll look foolish if you didn't know about them from the git-go? Like Taylor Hicks or Ruben Studdard? Or Daughtry? Or Clay Aiken? You're better than that. Quit torching your smarts. I rely on you people to put interesting/different/challenging music and musicians into some kind of context for me. The "stars" of this show, 98% of the time, are morbid.By the way, Taylor Hicks is a mailman now.

PS Weingarten, keep being angry. I was only being critical of you because you asked for it.

Both sides of the family specialize in salvage and ocean towing, and they sometimes bid for the same jobs. The two sides haven’t spoken to each other in five years.
