2fer Monday

...The woman was sitting by a building on Main and South Broadway streets and continuously pounding her head on the window.

The officer reported she seemed intoxicated, and she said she did not have anyone to take her home.

As the officer tried to help the woman, she continued to scream at other police officers and other people passing by.

She would not stop despite being asked multiple times to quit screaming. The woman kept yelling that she wanted to be left alone and kept yelling to passersby that they knew her, even though they did not.

Eventually the woman urinated on the sidewalk and flopped onto the ground, according to Menomonie police reports.

The woman was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.

Telltale evidence
Urine on a toilet bowl rim may well lead to a trespassing charge for an Eau Claire man.

A 23-year-old woman reported she suspected her ex-boyfriend had entered her locked apartment Aug. 9 without her consent.

She told Menomonie police that items had been moved and the toilet seat was up, with urine on the rim.

Her laptop had been used, and the ex-boyfriend was added as a friend on her Facebook page.

The woman said she believes the man wants to start a relationship again, but she is not interested.

She did say if the man told police he entered without consent and agreed to not do it again that she did not want him charged.

If he would not admit to doing those things, she wanted authorities to seek a trespassing charge.
