Sweet Christ

Business Week had a real "eye catching" time management tips article that popped up in my Gmail of all places.

Here's a huge tip:

Patrick Corcoran, director, finance, Pfizer (PFE), New York:
"Sometimes it's best not to answer all e-mail promptly. When a message contains an issue that the sender should solve, it may be best to let them figure it out."

Instead of, you know, actually taking the initiative and writing the person back and telling them explicitly it is something they should figure out on their own. I guess that would be, um, directing, and way less passive aggressive.
